This means many of our products are left almost unused. For this reason, making natural makeup products at home has become very popular recently.
If you do not want to buy cosmetic products that are sold at high prices, you can make many products yourself at home. Moreover, it is more natural and healthy!
How to Make Natural Makeup Products At Home
1. Lipstick
For lipstick, you can easily prepare it at home, melt 1 tablespoon of beeswax or vaseline in a double boiler. Add 1 teaspoon of glycerin, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 teaspoon of red (or any color) food coloring to it and mix.
Pour into a small bowl and put it in the fridge. If you have a finished lipstick container in your home, you can also pour it into that.
After hardening, your homemade lipstick is ready. If you want, you can use cranberry, raspberry, or beet to color your lipstick, but you should use it within a few days, as they are not long-lasting.
2. Eyeliner
It is quite easy to make eyeliner at home. First, mix an activated charcoal capsule and equal amounts of coconut oil to color. Thus, you will have shiny black eyeliner.
3. Mascara
First of all, you need a container of mascara to make a new mascara. You can either buy them empty or you can wash and use your old mascara box.
Then put 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, 1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil and half a teaspoon of soy or beeswax in a bowl and mix. Melt these ingredients in a double boiler.
Then add 3-4 tablespoons of aloe vera gel to the mixture and mix well. Next is the substance that will give mascara its black color.
Add 1 capsule of activated charcoal to the mixture.
You can put this mixture in a bag with a small hole at the end and squeeze it into the container. Your mascara is ready!
4. Bronzer
You can make a completely natural and fragrant bronzer at home. Necessary ingredients for natural bronzer: cocoa, alcohol or cologne, finished powder or blush container.
- Wash the finished powder or blush container and clean it with alcohol to make it hygienic. This is very important for the homogeneity of your bronzer and your health. There should be no chemical waste left in the container.
- Fill the container with cocoa and cover it completely.
- Add the alcohol or cologne to it and let it soak completely.
- Make sure it is completely wet and let it sit for 2 hours to harden a little.
- After two hours, put several layers of napkins on top.
- Place a flat object like a thick book on it so that it becomes heavy and does not crack as it dries. Leave it on for 2-3 days to dry completely in this way.
- You can start using your fragrant bronzer after 3 days.
- If there is a cracking afterward, you can repeat the procedure.
5. Eyeshadow Primer
The biggest problem of people with oily skin is that their eye makeup deteriorates during the day and products such as eyeliner and mascara contaminate their eyelids.
The solution to this situation is eyeshadow primers. To make primer at home, put 1 teaspoon of powder in a bowl and crush it with a spoon to make it thoroughly powdery.
Then add 1 teaspoon of foundation and 4 teaspoons of intensive body lotion. After mixing well, your headlight primer is ready!
6. BB Cream
If you have a foundation that you do not use at home or is dark on your skin, squeeze a small amount into a bowl.
Add moisturizer according to your skin type, slightly less than the foundation you put on.
Then add protective sunscreen. You can adjust these measurements to 3 teaspoons of moisturizer and 1 teaspoon of sunscreen and you can adjust the foundation you will put according to the tone of the color you want and the density of the bb cream.
Put this mixture in a bowl of your choice.
7. Eyeshadow
Mix 1 tablespoon of cocoa, 1 tablespoon of rice flour, and 1 teaspoon of shea butter for 10 minutes.
If the shea butter is difficult to mix because it is dense, you can melt and mix in a double boiler. With this recipe, you will have a natural shade of brown tones.
8. Makeup Stabilizer Spray
To keep your makeup fresh all day and not flowing, you can make a makeup stabilizer spray at your home. The ingredients you need for this are water, glycerin and tonic.
First of all, you need a spray bottle. Put drinking water in three-quarters of a 100 ml bottle.
Add tonic to the remaining 1/4. Then drip 5 drops of glycerin.
If you add more glycerin, your skin will look oily.
Cap the bottle, shake it and it’s ready to use. Keep refrigerated.
We recommend that you use this product for a maximum of 3 months and then renew it.
